I have a SCAG stc48a with 20 hp koh. The right hand turn controller is getting stiff and more difficult to move vs the left hand controller. The dealer advises to bring in for hydro motor check out. The unit is 1 year and has 360 hrs. Any advice on this issue.

Just the obvious have you greased it? Check to see if anything is interfering with the lever mechanism.

A shot of 2-4-D, WD-40 in common speak, does wonders on most linkages, especially if they are not zerk(or is it zert) equiped.

Why not try Fluid Film? It's going last a heck of a lot longer than WD-40. No solvents so it won't dry out.
