Shaft Length of Diameter?
What about this engine with a 3 5/32 long shaft?
See we have another problem, how old is the machine itself?
16 horses is all fine and dandy on a newer machine but if that thing is 8-10 years old it might kill it.
It has a 17 HP kawasaki on it currently. Are you saying that the newer engine would have more power because it has not been worn out. I am not following the logic. Please let me now what you mean.
When are you going to get the darn thing tested for compression and leak test?
How knows, might clean up the valves and put in the little oil seals on the stems and run it to see what happens. We got Kawaska units all over this site using oil.
Thanx ED......you're reading my mind.....
Talking never fixed nothin....
I am very busy these days and don't have much time to spare... already worked 30+ hours this week, have a 4 and 2 year old with a pregnant wife. Needless to say I have not even had time to pick it up.
I will let y'all know as soon as I have run the test. I am as anxious as y'all are, believe me-- I am no mowing my 1 acre yard with a 21" john deere.
Thank y'all once again for helping thus far and I hope I haven't made y'all weary.
Hey brantley Take your time we going no where
I did find out the engine code: FH500V-BS09
