Anyone running the Gator G6 blades on a Scag Tiger Cat 52 with the Kawasaki 691FX? Just ordered a set and hoping the motor is going to have enough @$$ :weightlifter: to spin these monster blades.

    Anyone running a similar configuration?

Hopefully I will get some comforting feedback!

Any pics? Why do you think they are awesome? How do they compare in blade length and striping compared to the OEM Scag blades?

On a Tiger Cat, I would think the G5 would be a better blade. It's the same blade as the G6 but a little thinner. The thinner it is, the lighter it is, the easier it is to spin. G5 is .203 and G6 is .24 thickness. I run G5's on my 29hp and G6 on my 35hp. The blades leave an excellent cut but they don't stripe as well as the high lift blades.

In my opinion, with the velocity deck, you can have it all. On sunny, dry days, you run gators to mulch the grass. On wet days, you switch to high lifts and can cut in the rain without clumps. I believe it to be the best deck currently available.
