scag tiger cub price

    there is a 2003 tiger cub with bagging unit and 125hrs. asking $8000. The price seemd steep to me, what do you think is a resonible $?

    I think you can get a 48" tiger cub for around $5995.00, brand new. Just call yor local Scag dealer and ask for a price on a new set up just like you are looking at. That will give you an idea. I think $8000.00 is a bit high. I would maybe pay $6500.00 for it.

    that seems high to me the mower list for around 6300 right now and in a threaad today i saw where some one had the bagger installed for 1500 and a clam shell bagger was around 2000

    That price does sound a little bit high. You could get a new one with that setup close to that price.

    Sounds a bit much.

    I paid 7500.00 for my Tiger Cub with a 24HP Honda and a 52" deck. The bagger cost 1599.00.

    Around here they are $5999 with a 19 hp Kaw. or 20 hp Koh.

    I've seen Tiger Cubs (not sure if it had the Kawasaki 19 or the Kohler 20) for $5,999. If you get the clamshell catcher for two grand, $7,999 would be about right.
