I am looking for wheel studs for my 2003 Turf Tiger. Misaligned the rim and it chewed up the studs and rim. I need to replace the studs. The specs are 1/2"x20 thread with a 16.2mm / .64 inch knurled hub diameter that is 7.8mm / .30 inches high. overall length of 56.2mm / 2.22 inches of which this length can be upto 1/2" shorter. Any HELP is appreciated. Talked to Scag and they dont sell the studs seperate from the hub assembly:dizzy:. They gave me a NAPA part #, however it is undersized by .04" at the knurled hub diameter. Scag is STILL THE BEST !!!. Pat and Rob at their Tech. Support are the Greatest.:cool2: I checked the parts manual for our new 2007 TT and it doesn't seperate the studs from the hub either. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and where did they get the studs and or part #'s. Worst case would be to tack weld the undersized studs in to hold stud to tighten and loosen wheel rim. Thanks.:usflag:

I just happened to see about 4 or 5 standard sizes of studs at Walmart and bought a couple spares for my truck as they have a booklet that tells you which ones for your vehicle. I remember seeing that 1/2-20 fine thread was available. I don't know about the rest of the specs, but maybe Scag uses standard studs and you could get them at NAPA or Autozone. If you think it is worth a try take your verniers or mic and the specs you got with you.

Another idea would be a strore that sells golf carts or ATV's.

Hi Tagg, here is a link to Lawson Product, check out the virtual catalog and you should be able to find what you need. This is where I get all the hardware for the shop

Thanks johnp, however the info you are showing is for a 2001 model which uses a different type hub and wheel motor system. I will contact Scag tomorrow and check. Also I think I may of found a stud to work at NAPA. I probably won't have time to try it out until this weekend. :usflag:

What's the actual model & serial #? You have the #461438 wheel hub/brake drum assy. If you don't find what the studs, I have a used hub assy that I can ship to you or just send the studs out of it.

Johnp the info on the TT is: 2003 , STT61A-27KA, s/n 85228**. The info for your unit shows it as a 2001 TT. This unit has a 2 pc. hub assembly compared to the 2003 model that and newer that has the studs right in the hub. Thanks.
