Scag Z-Cat...

    Just wanted to know if anyone on here had any experience with them. I am looking into buying a small Z for gated back yards. I know Scag makes a quality machine, but I searched and cant find any reviews on this mower. Any input is welcome...

    I have the 42 inch z cat best little z on the market,if you plan on buying they quit the z-cat you might find a left over so look.

    I have a Z Cat. It's an allright machine, tough as hell, but doesn't mulch or cut high grass very well, there are no aftermarket parts for it, (or at least I haven't been able to find them) Blade belt $76, set of blades $60. If I had research my decision a bit more before I bought it, I think I would have bought an Exmark or a Gravely. Almost bought the Gravely to begin with, but the dealer was being a jerk, so I ended up with the Scag.

    When did they stop making the Z-Cat???

    Talked to a dealer they stated no more so i guess this year.
