Is Scag still making The ZCat any more?
Im not sure but my dealer still has some..some say that they are not anymore
They are not making it any more, but, like the Saber Tooth Tiger, they are still vailavle at some dealers and distributors. My distributor still has a few of the 36" Z Cats. They're fresh out of the 42s.
Are they not saling well?
they have a real limited market. Yeah, they're basically mini Tiger Cubs. Great Zs, but Scag is trimming the fat off their model line and the ZCat and Saber Tooth had to go.
Business decisions must be made from time to time !!
So do the old machines sell for less since they are leftovers or more because they are valuable commodities?
Why do away with the Sabre Tooth?
Price, mainly. They sold for in the upper 15s I believe. The CATs and Kubotas are doing well at a better price.
oh, I imagine you could get your dealer to cut you a deal, sure.
