Scale Drawing

    I have a question - I am pricing up my first blueprint that is to scale. it says 1/8 inch = 1 foot so if im measuring an 8ft section what is that?

    Are you working for yourself? For a customer? For an employer? (I hope not)

    BTW... one inch at 1/8th scale is 8 feet

    i know - i am working for myself. i havent worked off of blueprints before

    every 1/8th on the drawing is 1' on the ground
