What's your opinion on Scotts lawn service? I was quoted $42.75 for each treatment. The yard has ton's of weeds and bad grasses. (2300 sq. ft)

This includes pest control, fungicide and fertilizer. Is this a smart thing to do? Or go with a smaller company?

I really want to get our yard into shape.

I use a service called Natural Lawn of America (http://nl-amer.com) and they rock. They charge me $96 a treatment and its about 1.2 acres. Organic as well. I will use them for a long time.

2300 square feet for 42 bucks? WOW. That is either a tiny yard or a misprint. 23,000 maybe?

We aren't as fortunate as most people. I won't preach my story... It was NOT a misprint, and I just want to get our grass green and leave the weeds behind.

    There's 8 treatments in a year.. so it's $342 a year..

Are they really that bad? Scotts fertilizer company that is..

    Thanks guys,
