I just wanted to say that this year we had a few openings so I ran an ad in the local newspaper. I didn't want to deal with the riff raff, so I said:

Commercial/Residential lawn care. We provide professional services for superior lawns only. Call today for a free estimate.

Seems like everyone and their brother wants to be considered to have a 'superior' lawn......and the good thing is they already realize we will not be cheap.

Just thought this might be an angle some of you want to take.

    Good Luck.

and your point? I think I'm missing something. Don't worry nobody responds to newspaper ads.

Nobody responds to newspaper ads???? I've found them very effective; in fact, about 90% of my yards came from responses to my ads in the local paper.

My point is, I'm getting a lot of inquiries and not the usual riff raff.
