Hey Guys. Way back when i bought a craftsman leaf blower. I realized that it can only be used around the house. Not commercially. Well anyways, the screws kept coming loose on the muffler and it just rattled off. The same thing is happening to my John Deere Trimmer. What does this mean when the screws are comming loose off the muffler. Does it mean that it's about to die? Anything will help. Thanks!

Yes, i have tried to tighten them but, on my leaf blower it would just rattle off. ( i dont use the blower anymore) But, on my trimmer i did tighten it and it didn't rattle off yet. Any suggestions why it rattles off?

Put some locktite on the threading. Probably just rattles loose like the bolts on exhaust headers or exhaust manifolds do on cars.
