seal tool

    tried taking the seals out of my front wheels on my laxer to pack them and had a heck of a time with screwdriver,ruined one they make a tool,or what did i do wrong.

    I think that they dont intend us to repack these type of bearings just repace them when they are worn out.(which is fast) I have ruined a few myself now what i use is the sharp needle attachment for the grease gun try to get it inbetween the inner hub and the seal without putting a hole in the seal. Seems to work ok. hope this helps

    Thereis such a tool as a seal puller but for the size you're talking about it would be too large. I've pulled small seals with my old Matco spring tool, it is sort of a currly Q pick. In most cases they probably want you to replace the bearing like already said. You could try putting in EP Moly greese and see if that lasts a little longer.
