Looking for some input as to how I should bid these jobs. I've been getting calls from housing plans that have never been sealed before. Most of the driveways are 500-1000 Sq ft. I know that I will use more sealer the 1st time it's done but should I jump my price by a couple cents psf? Thanks in advance.

Definitely raise your price. It is costing you more in material. If the customer asks tell them why.

Yea I know it will cost me more but should I raise it by 1-2 cents psf? Or 3-5 cents psf?

No one on here can tell you what to charge. Every ones costs are different. 1000sqft if its pretty rough would cost me roughly $34.50 just in seal alone for one coat. Then figure overhead, profit, labor, etc.

I wasn't asking for anyone to tell me what to charge. A 1000 Sq driveway would cost me right around the same price to sealcoat at 60 sf per gallon paying 2.60 a gallon for raw material. I'm just not we'll versed on the new driveways. I hear they soak up the sealer. Just don't want to under or overbid.
