Can anyone give me any idea why my 15.5 42" Hydro just stops running and won't start until it cools off? Guessing its electric even though the engine turns over - but won't kick in. Do the fuel pumps heat up and stop the flow, ?? Help - I don't want to call the repairman if I can help it ....

Check to see if you have spark when it shuts down. Use a spark tester or remove plug & ground it to the engine & crank it over. If no spark, then you can remove the kill wire from the coil & try. That eliminates all saftety switches. If still no spark, then yes as chuckers says, coil. If you still have spark when it shuts down then come back.
