Can someone please provide the correct spelling of the insect secata? It's a huge looking fly that I believe has built cocoons on my leyland cypress and almost killed it. I saw one at the bottom of the trunk. The tree must have 50 cocoons on it. I need to know what to do about them without having to call Terminix.
