Still new to the fertilizing and seeding and wondering what and how to determine the cost for doing both. If anyone could pass on any information to help determine the current rate for doing both I'd sure appreciate it.

As stated above i'm still new to this part of the job and also want to make sure I do this correctly. Will I seed and then fertilize? Or should one be done then the other? What is the standard method for doing both? And when is the right time?

Fall seeding and fertilizing should be done at the time of aeration together. Also recommended, 4 weeks after the intial fertilization a second application of starter could be applied to help strengthen root structures. Some companies will fertilize a week prior to the aeration to save time at aeration on larger commerical accounts but for residential lots it is wise to apply the seed and fert at the same time.
