Is it possible to overfeed and to fertilize at the same time? I know i've seen some bags at the hardware store of seed and fertz all together, but need to clarify on this, I though the fert might kill the seeds.

Yes, in fact it is advised to apply a starter fertilizer when you seed. As long as you did not put down a pre-emerge app (crabgrass preventer) already you should be good to go as long as the soil temp is high enough for germination.

Did you plan to mix the fertilizer with the seed? How long did you plan to store it this way? I wouldn't want to take that risk. If you do--let us know what happened, OK, Gauvreau?

No i've sign up a fertilizer application (x4) with a customer, Also sold a lawn aeration and over seeding.

So I was going to aerate the lawn, then wait a couple days until I know it's going to rain, then apply the seeds, then the fertz separately before it would rain.
