Tonight (October 11th) is the last home football game on our local high school field. The team will likely have a home playoff game there on November 6th. The center of the field where most play occurs is getting in bad shape. Could I seed perennial rye grass in that area at this time to get some of the field to come back by November 6th.??

Yes. Keep it damp and use starter fert. About a week to germinate perennial rye.
