Seeding/plugging bermuda over centipede?

    A HOA rep has 16 lawns that need an annual maintenance plan (top dollar), but they have some issues.


    There are bare spots throughout the properties, she wants to put Bermuda b/c it is more tolerant to ground pearls. Is that a horrible idea? I told her I didn't think it would promote optimal growth with 2 turfs competing and that certain herbicides are susceptible to separate turfs. Should I seed/plug Bermuda in with the centipede or should I tell her to stay with the centipede for filling.

    *I will likely be having to do maintenance/herbicide applications as well & deal with the conflicting turfs during herbicide apps.

    I think hybrid bermuda plug's would be the way to go and would out-compete finicky centipede, no problem. No one will notice the two different type's of grass's but you. Just don't use common, get hybrid plug's for free from golf courses aerifying tee's and fairway's late this spring.
