I seeded multiple lawns here in southern Indiana two weeks ago. It rained a few days after seeding, and now it has been 2 weeks with no rain, and none in the forcast. Should I expect poor results? It has been fairly hot here also, but cool nights. The lawns are acre size so watering is out of the question.

Seed lies dormant until conditions are right. It is possible that without irrgation the seed doesn't germinate until spring. But, we still have another month or so for fall conditions to actually occur here in the fall.

 Our best July weather has been in Sept. this year. I just hope we don't get Dec. weather in Oct.

Yes, poor but possibly salvageable results. While your seed is busy not germinating the yards will fill in with weeds I am sorry to say. The later in the season it gets, the more you should be prepared to push it with fertilizer once you do get rain and germination, IMO.
