How many pounds of seed for a half acre? Some of it is just overseeding.

I'd use a large bag, bout 20pds and heavy starter fert. Should do the trick in about three weeks.

43560 sq ft in an acre, 21780 sq ft in a half acre. Read the bag for the seed your using. Fescue new is about 8 to 10lbs per 1000sq ft. Roughly 22 X 8 =166lbs of fescue seed
