Hey guys, I bought the company I worked for 3 years ago. Business has exploded to the point where i have 160 accounts. I am killing myself and its just not worth and and i have decided to downsize. Do any of you have expirence in selling lawn accounts? I will be letting 70 accounts go and I need to send my customers a letter. Has anyone ever posted a "sample letter"? Any do's or don'ts that i should know? I want to make this very painless for my custumors... any ideas?

I did this last spring. What I did was send a letter telling them I could no longer work in their areas due to whatever...but that a friend of mine would be taking over their accounts. I didn't want them to be left trying to find someone. Also, said within 3 days he will be calling you. The transition went smooth.
