Hello . A few questions on the Sentar Sport if you will .

Are the Sentar Sport 19/48 all equipped with the Big Block FH601V ?

And what do you get in inches on the trim side of the deck ... ?

I did se a post where Wright said they are the Big Block , but I would like to get a double check on that ..

    Thank you ....

I have a sentar sport 19/52 that I bought in DEC 2007 and it has the FH580V on it. If you are thinking of buying one, look to see if the side plates where the hyd. motors mount go straight down or do they have a 90 degree bend at the bottom. Mine went straight down and I had to weld a plate across the bottom to strengthen that area after about 175 hrs. Other than that its been a good mower.

Maybe Wright can answer on the plate issue as well ...

Looking at a pic on their website of the Sentar Sport .. It shows the pumps sitting on a plate that runs from side to side .. It also appears to have the smaller 19hp on it .. Looking at the two 19's side by side at the dealer the 580 has a grey(engine) cover vs a black cover on the 601 ... I didn't have a Sentar Sport to look at on the dealer floor as none in stock at this time .. I would have to order one , then be able to have it in front of me to look at ...

    Downeast,

The current production WSES/RH's are built using the Kawasaki FH601, no matter what deck size, and as of last week we approved the use of the 23 and 25hp big blocks on the 48" and 52". On the 48" you will have a little less than four inches on the trim side of the cutter deck. We did change the strength of the lower part of the cockpit by adding the bent sides and also have a brace available for the previous model.

    Best Regards

What can we expect on price/cost difference for the 23hp on the 48 ...?

Right now I am looking at 8728.00 with a Turbo Gobbler and extension basket. and tax ... Actually I get 5% discount which covers the tax ..

LOL , looking at the quote they slipped the tax back in ... 415.00 :nono:

I see on the quote they charge 8109.99 for the mower .. Less 5% discount, to bring the mower to 7704.00 then added the tax .. But your price chart shows the Sentar Sport being 7669.00 .. Whats up with that 8109 .00 ?
