Separating Wheel Motor from Wheel Motor Mount

    Having a hard time getting the two apart. Anyone with a tip on how to do it? They are really stuck together.

    A 2x4 block and BFH knocking side to side.......

    Try some heat....either torch or small handheld torch.

    Not sure how a big fuzzy hammer is going to help but I will try anything. Thanks for the tips. Can't wait until I can go them apart. It always amazes me what can slow you down on a project. One cotter pin 10 seconds, other cotter pin 10 minutes.

    No torches on motors. They are precision tolerance pieces with soft seals that will fry. Chemical penetrants, dead blow hammers and wood blocks.

    Yea, I know exactly what you mean :laugh: Like when you have to work on push spreaders, That is why when ever I can replace a cotter pin with a hair pin I do....
