  1. Has any one signed up for SERVICEMAGIC.com

I am just wondering because I am thinking about it.

You pay a $99 lifetime membership fee
and then when a cusomers asks for lawn care (or other service) if you match the search the customers info is psted in you mailbox.

    You rewiew the following info:

    Mr. Smith
    Your Town, USA 12345

    Lawn Aeration 7,812 sq. ft

For $10.00 you buy the LEAD.
you get Mr. Smiths addres and phone #

Service magic also e-mails Mr. Smith
Saying you will be contacting him

They only sell the lead to 3 people.

Does this sound like a good deal to you.

That is incorrect they give you very basic info if you like it you accept the lead and they can cost you any where from 8-30.00 per lead.

Oh and did i mention that they do NOT prequlyfie the leads and if you get a bad lead they will NOT refund your money.

    DON'T DO IT!!!
  3. They told me $10.00 per lead for Lawn Care

    How Many leads are bad

a home owner is not going to fill out a big form just for nothing right.

I can't remember he call me. The only way they can guarantee a lead is if someone in your area call them. Most people look in the phone book for lawn care.

I signed up about a few months ago, haven't gotten any work from it yet. I only responsed to a few leads. If you live in the NY, Long Island, Staten Island area it would be well worth it. I get a tremendous amount of leads from up there....
  8. R U saying it might be worth it based on your area??

How well does the CHICAGO area due??

I do think I would give my money away. Just make flyers and target the area you want.

I have tried a similar service, but they do not charge me the $99.00. I got a couple of leads, but I don't think it's something worth paying for.
