Anyone had any recent experience with ServiceMagic in FL????
About two years ago. I called just to inquire about there services. About 175 phone calls later they finally stopped calling me. I have heard good and bad, but they sure seemed a little too eager to try to sell me something that it made me feel a little worried about them.
I have heard they are the best thing ever to that they suck. What I have heard consistently is that if you sign up with them, you need to be the first one to answer the customers call because many have showed up to give the estimate the job is already gone. This to me sounds like they are working for too many LCO's as is and I do not need to give them money to have me drive to a location only to find out the first guy that showed up got the account.
Besides if you are in FL, why the hell would you ever call another company for a lawn service? All you have to do is look down the block and you will see 25 lawn trailers on any given day.
Way over priced and the people who use it usually don't have a dollar to their name.
I used them gets very expensive for leads. I wouldn't use them for lawn care maybe for sod or tree work big jobs. You get a lot of people that think you can turn their weed/lawn green with 100 bucks and its a 10,000 sqft lawn or that you can plant some magical seed to make their lawn look as good as the yard of the month.
