Yep yet another issue with SM! no such problem on AL
Not totally true about Service magic, you can adjust the amount you want to spend on a monthly basis and you can also turn your leads off when you either are too busy or don't want the expense.
You can adjust your daily spend, but the criteria for the leads they send you leaves much to be desired. We send out contractors a notice of a new lead with the job details via text message or email, and if it fits in their niche they can purchase it with 2 clicks or ignore it.
I agree there I have used AL, gottashopit, and servicemagic and so far as sm has been pretty good, do I think things should be changed a bit of course but I try and act quickly on all leads and have pretty good success landing jobs. I would love to see other services.
That's true but I think there is a lag time involved and leads still get sent and you get charged for. Maybe it's just me but SM is just to much trouble for a small one or two man operation, just my opinion.
