A customer of mine has asked me to renovate his lawn because he was told the sod that was installed was shade sod and it should have been sun sod. This was actaully told to him by a Scotts rep because they used to take care of the lawn fertilizers. I know the sod most often used around here is kentucky blue grass. Considering also that most sod farms I've seen are usually huge open areas, is there such a thing as shade sod or is this guy just blowing smoke? I plan to overseed the lawn with whats needed in certain areas.
