I have got a stack (well, about 12) Shind. 6 tooth Tornado blades.
I hate to throw them away, but with bad teeth what else can I do? Any way to change them, or a good place to get some generic blades alot cheaper than the 18.00 per. but same quality?
(I go through quite a few in a season)

I always thought you could sharpen them like a chainsaw chain, have you tried that yet or are your blades broke or missing teeth.

Yeah, I deff. sharpen them (perhaps too much at one time, and never been real that good at those kind of teeth)
Have alot that have hit fences, rocks, ect. Hate to throw them away, but never found a good way to replace the teeth. Might try some generic ones, and see how they work. Has to be somewhat cheaper.

Don't know if it would work but if you could order replacement teeth could you drill out the rivets that hold the teethin and rerivet anew tooth. If I'm not mistaken my tornado blades teeth were riveted on. I'll have to look at my tomorrow, got me curoid now.
