All this talk about the stihl and the red max backpack blowers got me wondering, what ever happened to the EB8510??
I used my friends EB8510 the other day and I kinda liked it. So I was wondering for those that have them, how do you like it and has it been dependable.
My friend dose not like his for it did have a problem and it was almost a month before the dealer got he backpack back to him? (some ground that goes on the tube)

    Thank Gil

We love ours even though it is quite heavy. We use it prodominetly on large leaf jobs and parking lots. We use our smaller BP Shindaiwa for drives, gutters, and walkways. It has great power and does have its place in this industry.

i've posted quite a few comments on the 8510. I've run it side by side with my Echo 750 and it is much more powerful and definitely cuts down on time. However it is heavier and bulkier. The weight sits much higher on your back so I feel I can wear it longer than the echo. I only use it for spring and fall cleanups, I use my echo for the regular mowing cleanup stuff.

also, a lot of guys complain that it doesn't rev up high enough, but its just the 4stroke has a different rumble to it.

It is a heavy blower, but has a lot of power. I am planning on buying another one this spring.

:usflag: It is a bit heavy 24.5lbs dry, but that 79.7cc engine puts out 762cfms at the tube end, most powerful backpack ive used, i also like the eb630 19lbs dry still alot of power 630 at tube end. They are my pick, been using them for many yrs with little problems.....Marks Mowing Service

The $50 instant discount savings coupon offer from Shindaiwa has been extended through March 31, 2007 if that helps in your purchase planning.
