Has anyone used this trimmer model T231? A local dealer has one for $289. I checked the website and its a low emission model. Just wondering if this would be bad thing? Not for the environment but for usability.

    Thanks-Creek Chub

I'VE GOT ONE ON THE TRAILER, HAD IT FOR 3 MONTHS NOW, STILL STARTS ON FIRST PULL,CHEWS THRU JUST ABOUT ANYTHING, RUNS A LITTLE RICH, THINED OUT THE MIX AND IT RUNS SWEEET.I BOUGHT MINE A LITTLE CHEAPER AT AN OPEN HOUSE THE DEALER WAS HAVING, LOOK FOR OR ASK AROUND FOR THE NEXT SALES EVENT,I THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER ON THE PRICE.
    STAY COOL

I have heard they are not as strong as the T230, but I could not tell you for sure.

they are no where near as good as the t-230.they are heavier ,they have more problems starting ,and do not have the power the t-230 had,
