Anyone else having a repeat problem with the 230 and 231 Blue Shindaiwa Weedeaters? The problem we are having with both models is that once we start running them, as the day goes on they get harder to start. You have to pull and pull. :dizzy: We talked about this problem with our supplier and repair shop. They say it is an ignition problem. When we get them fixed it starts to happen again rather quickly. I am just wondering if any of you have this same problem. Thanks,

    Hi Ed,
If I am not mistaken, I am pretty sure they replaced the ignition and wiring. I will double check because I will be picking up another one that went in for repair on Monday or Tuesday. I have to drop off another one.

Try a different plug, I had the same problem and switched to a Denso and that cured the problem for my weedeater and hedging shears. Dom
