I just started my landscaping company about 8mnths ago. I grossed around 35k. I only do this part time and have a full time job. I wanted to know if it would pay off to get an accountant or just do an online service like I have in the past. I have pretty much invested all of the profit I made back into the company so I know it may get a little tricky. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Yes! Hopefully you have been paying the taxes for those sales, if not, one day you may be getting a knock on the door from the man.

In other words if you have been depositing monies into your bank account, how would you explain this to the IRS?

So yes get an accountant, because if you are actually putting money back into the business, you are probably missing out on some real WRITE-OFF'S.

Thanks guys, I will do. By putting money back into the business I meant buying equipment. I dont know if that means I may still be missing tax write offs or not.

Yes that's what it means. You can write off equipment, trucks, etc.
