Halloween is here. Any expert carvers out there?
Funny you should post this. I was just thinking about posting something similar.
We haven't carved anything yet this year, this one's from a couple of years back, when Steelers played on Halloween night.
I'll see if I can find a pic. Hurricane Wilma blew us out in 2005 so we evac'd to the DC area and didn't return until after Halloween. We went to a VA pumpkin patch and brought a couple back with us.
I took one and carved a reindeer - added antlers off E-Bay and a red nose and I had my own Rudolph pumpkin.
These are from last year. No photos yet of this year.
Mine are the two on the far right. The others by my girlfriend's kids.
This year we picked up a funny book called Extreme Pumpkins.... it's ...ummm...inspirational.
Excellent p-kins. I like that site.
Pumpkin we did tonight. I gutted it, Matt carved it.
Need to get picture tomorrow where the pumpkin can at least be seen.
Jodi you caught me off guard for a second........ GREAT JOB!!!
Here is some.
why does it not surprise me that landscape light folks are excellent carvers. unfortunately, I have not time to carve..
I had a friend who used to not carve through the pumpkin but hollow it out thin enough to see through the pumkin...it was carzy looking....he would leave the image thick so it would apprear dark and the light would glow through the pumpkin in the other spots...it was really cool
