I am having a hard time when it comes to pricing some of the odd jobs we do. I haven't been doing this long enough to know how long a job will take, when it comes to things like shrub trimming, stump removal, gutter cleaning, things like that. Does anyone have any type of ballpark figure they use, like so much per linear foot of shrub, or something like that? Dumb question I am sure, but just need a little guidance, or is this just something that comes with time in the business?

    Thanks for any help.

Do your best to guess and make an hourly price based bid. Don't forget to calculate the time it will take you to haul off debris and dump fees. You will get better with the bidding. Keep a log. The info put in your log will help improve your time estimates and bidding.
