Don't have a picture, but if someone can give some ideas from my description that would help. It is a broadleaf, evergreen, grows rather large (6'x8'), foliage is a dull medium green, leaves are large (about half the size of my hand), smooth edges on the leaves, no blooms I don't think, it has a strong scent thats even more obvious when trimming the shrub. I don't know how to describe the scent other than it smells kind of like rubber maybe. I'm in southeast GA zone 8. Any ideas?

The smell you describe could possibly be eucalyptus. Not sure what form you would find in your area though.
