Shurflo SRS-540 vs SRS-600

    I know the 600 replaced the 540 but is the 540 still a good unit? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that there were a bunch of problems with the 540. Anyone have any experience with that unit?

    the research i found before got my srs 600 i remmeber seeing something about that i think it was something to do with the pump maybe american might know..i talked to him before i got my 600.....

    Hi gregory ..... we never used the 540. But we sure like the SRS 600. PHS, you won't go wrong if you buy the 600. Maybe a fuse might blow on top of the battery or once in great while the pump might go bad. We often can go 3 weeks on a single battery charge! Ebay has 'em for $163 plus 17 bucks shipping. No tax either! They are awesome!
