Got lucky most of the week, was able to dodge the rain for the most part. Just finished up my last 2 properties for the week, had to wait out a storm for an hour or so.

Been a tough summer for sure. Saw the 7 day forecast had a couple highs in the 80's. You know it's bad when your pumped to see 89. Mind and body are tired. Almost there though boys!

  3. Lol...that's true.

Your right though....6 weeks till Oct. I welcome October. Things start slowing down. Usually highs are 85 with way less humidity. Rainfall stops. Really though August is by far the hardest month. Oddly enough though I thought july was more humid. August has been hotter but july seemed more humid to me.

I've been fooled too many times. Every time I see them call for cooler, you know, like 88-90...it just turns out to be humid as snot.

  6. This has def been the wettest year since I started. We had rain from jan all the way till now. Not one dry spell all year. It rained the last 3 days here.

From the NWS hazardous weather outlook for SW Florida for next week, Stay hydrated guys.

    ...EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT...
EACH AFTERNOON DURING THE WORK WEEK...SEVERAL HOURS OF DANGEROUSLY
HOT TEMPERATURES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE INTERIOR OF WEST
CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA. THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES
AND HIGH HUMIDITY WILL COMBINE TO CREATE A DANGEROUS SITUATION IN
WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE LIKELY. HEAT INDEX VALUES ARE FORECAST TO
REACH UP TO 105 TO 108 EACH AFTERNOON. DRINK PLENTY OF
FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY OUT OF THE
SUN...AND CHECK UP ON RELATIVES AND NEIGHBORS. GIVE PETS EXTRA
WATER AND BRING THEM INDOORS IF POSSIBLE.

I hate to say it but this post is a little late. I have been seeing 120 degree heat index the whole month of July and August. Abnormal morning rain this year followed by sunny skies makes for a real steam bath. August is normally our hottest/Humid month and this year July was like a normal August.

Florida summers, our temperature is no higher than most of the Country. It is our summer Humidity that makes working outside horrible. However Beaches are still great because of sea breeze.

  9. Past 2 days have felt like October with the breezes from the TS. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. Nice 3 day reprieve is always great.

Looking forward to the long weekend. Got plenty to do next month.
