    Hi,

Looking for some comments from people that have side gates on there trailers. I'm looking at a JDJ 6 by 12 single axle with possibly a 4 by 4 side gate on it. Are they handy? I was thinking it would be good so I could put my walk behind and trim mowers in front of my Z and still access without unloading the Z.

    Thanks
    Jeff

I CURRENTLY HAVE A 5 X 10 SINGLE AXLE. PLAN ON BUYING A 6 X 14 DOUBLE AXLE SHORTLY. ALSO WANT THE SIDE GATE. PERSONALLY THINK IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE. GOOD LUCK WITH DECISION.

We have a 7x16. We carry a Z and a walkbehind and 21" mowers. We find ourselves moving one a few times a day to get to the one we need. I think a side gate would be great. I was going to add one this winter past but I guess that will have to wait until next winter.

I have a 6x12 w/ 54" side gate. When I run with my WB and Z I can do just what you're saying and get the WB off the front with-out unstrapping/loading the Z off the back. It's very handy.

i just bought a new trailer with a side gate i love it. It's better to have the gate and not use it then to not have it and really need it. :waving:
