Sign on drop gate of trailer?

    want to put sign on drop gate of trailer. Was thinking plexi glass drill holes in it so it doesn't act as a kite, and then just letter it. Have any of you done this? any input or pics of yours would help.

    Use plywood. Cheaper and not brittle as plexi. Believe it or not the expanded mesh causes more resistance than a solid piece of plywood.

    I've done plywood before just use large washers on both aides so it can't rip through. Never had a problem

    I made one out of some white synthetic board that I got from my uncle. It was leftover from a sign shop. I liked it better than plywood because it didn't rot or warp.

    Looks like polyethylene. Nice and easy to work with, but pricey.

    I actually had one made out of plywood and before I could mount it I was given this stuff. I was trying to find out what it was called. You're right it is very easy to work with.
