Looking at buying a Ferris 32 inch Hydro WB. Having never dealt with Ferris before, I was wondering wether the single hydro pump it has makes any difference. Because all the other mowers have two hydro pumps (that I could find) Why did Ferris only put one? Is it because a 32 is so tiny? Opinions and advice very welcome, thanks to all that reply.

I am especially looking forward to a reply from Rodfather, where are ya?

Ferris also has a 36" and a 48" single hydro drive. My dealer really likes them alot. I have never demoed one but hope to this spring.

That makes sense, a bigger more powerful hydro Pump could easily run two wheel motors. I did service on a car wash with a 30gallon resivor that ran 54 hydro motors.....Marks Mowing Service

It is one pump and one transmission.
