Single VS Dual axle trailer- Help

    Sorry, but it really IS the truth! I have 2 trailers, a single axle 16 footer and a double axle 24 footer and I still can't fit it all on, Lol

    single for anything 12ft and under, and get tandem (duel W/ Brakes) for 14ft and over. tandem 12ft wear out tires really fast.. i have a single 14ft but upgrading to and 18ft tandem very soon

    I would get a single axle but with electric brakes put on it. Having brakes on a trailer makes a big difference safety wise and save your truck brakes. Also when your trailer isn't hooked to the truck, a single axle is easier to wheel around if needed.
