I'm looking for a new holland 180-190 skid steer to use as a yard machine to load trucks. I've been looking on machinery trader and am blow away at the prices for older machines 2003-2007with 3000 plus hours. They all seem to be around $20+. I was expecting around $15 for one in really good shape with 2000 hrs. New these machine cost 25-30 back then. Are prices on machinery trader usually high asking prices? How many hours do you feel are to many on a skid steer to still be reliable?

There is not a way too accurately answer that question becasuse how it was used is more important than hours.

If it's just a yard machine hours don't really matter. Stick to craigslist, should have better luck. Especially this time of year
