I am thinking of getting a Skid Steer ( probly a Deere 325). The primary use of the skid steer would be for winter snow work and help out alot in the summer with installs. This is my second year in business and I am just looking for some advise from you guys. What do you think?

A t-300 will barely pick up my 42 big john tree spade with no tree or dirt. I have had hydraulic problems though. So here kitty, kitty!

Hmmm... 42" Big John weighs 2500lbs. Operating load on a T300 is a little over 4k lbs. My 262 Cat will lift a 42" spade, and thats a wheeled machine. :hammerhead:

What kind of 42 do you have? It isn't a straight lift like a bucket, with a tree spade on. I guess should explain yes it can lift up but drive around the tree farm or on a berm. It ain't like carrying a little caretree or dutchman.
