Skid steers for mowing fields

    Anyone use skid steers for bush hoggin? How your luck with them? Are they more productive than the conventional 3 pt tractor method?
    Sorry for all the questions, but I saw these two nice rigs sporting two nice track skid steers with front mount rotory cutters. Figure they can manuver around such objects as fire hydrants and trees and stuff like that. I was wondering how they are in different type terrain & such. Tell me about yours or one youve seen around

    first thing ive got to ask is why would you need to brush hog anywhere near a hydrant but anyway , if youve got about 34000 laying around go for the bobcat toolcat maaaaaannnnnny uses out of it comes with ac aswell not as menuverable though

    I do a lot of bush hoggin in new "not yet developed" sub divisions where hydrants & power boxes are in & thought I whould see if anyone had some knowledge about this way of bush hogging before consider upgrading.
