Slit Seeding or Power rake and a spreader?

    Anyone who has done a lawn renovation do you like to use a slit seeder or just a power rake and a spreader? Which one do you prefer as far as cost and results? I'm looking into getting into slice seeding. Thanks for the help

    I'm linking you right to page 3 of my thread which ended up with same question.

    Bottom line, both are good but in my opinion, if doing a fresh install slit seed. If just renovating an existing yard, spreader and top dressing.

    Whatever you do, don't just throw out seed and leave it ontop of the ground with no covering, don't work.
