Hey guys...I have a job somewhat lined up for the spring to spray woody brush on a steep slope. We cut the brush down to stumps last fall. Most was 2" caliper or less black locust trees/clumps of trees. My questions are:

    1. Would a cut stump treatment of a Garlon 4/indicator dye work well for this application?

    2. What length of time might I be looking at for that brush not to resprout?

    Any help appreciated!

With Black Locust, you'd better kill every stump to get every root, right away... Round Up works for painting the stumps, but not for spraying the leaves...
