After working backwards for three days. Finally got the right equipment on site. And to add fuel to the fire we got 3" of rain last night. I ran the D5 while my buddy plucked the trees up and stacked them for me to push to back of property. The wet conditions didn't help, so looks like ill be paying for a second day for both machines. We made good progress for the conditions. A few of the first pics I was running the 316 getting some seat time.
    Enjoy the pics fellas.

Found some local wildlife hiding in a trash pile. Damn rattle snakes are everywhere. For comparison I'm 5' 8".

That mulcher isnt seeming so expensive now is it? Looks like its coming along, thats whats tough about bigger jobs, they bite harder

Good luck pounding out the rest of it

The mulcher wouldn't have been able to handle this after we started getting some room to work. Plus the rain made it a mess. I returned the T300 and only got charged a 1day rental fee. So that saved me over $800. I actually like the opportunity to get seat time on both machines.

Is it always that wet under the surface? So dry here the dust hurts your eyes!

Cool pics. I've run across two rattlesnakes in the last year at my place. Hadn't seen any in 20 years but with the drought, they are looking for water. Looks like they have no reason to leave a nice trash pile with all that water (rats and mice!)

Looks like fun running the dozer.

I don't remember off hand. I know they gave us the 316 for the same rate as the D5, since we had originally rented a D6 and it got pulled from us last minute for a longer lease.

I've two veteran machine operators coming out 2morrow to finish up the job. I've got 6 estimates scheduled that I can't miss. These guys have more years running machines than I've been alive.
