Anyone recomend a dealer for smaller trailer sizes, like 5x8 or 6x10?
Hartsog Trailer Co. in North Wilkesboro has the best prices that I have found. They always beat everyone's prices by $300.00. Course it may not benefit you being in Chapel Hill. Owensby Trailer in Greensboro (336) 299-5660 is another, but their prices are inline with everyone else.
Rigsbee's in Knightdale has done me great. They have outstanding trailers and even better prices. I've bought six from them in my lifetime and will continue to go back.
Since you're in Chapel Hill, check Kraftsman down near Asheboro on Hwy. 64.
HGR's in Fayetteville. call and talk to Ray.
Kaufman Trailers in Denton, just outsdie of Thomasville. VERY high quality and VERY low prices. I have bought 4 from them and nobody in NC has even come close to their quality and prices when I was shopping.
Look for my post Friday night. I'll have my new "Teshandsons" trailer.
I don't know about Kaufmans, they had a couple of Kaufmans in there trying to fix the gate assists. Seems they tried to copy the Tesh patented spring gate assist and it was falling apart.
But, the first thing they tell you when you start talking about a trailer is that they're not the cheapest. So, if you're looking for a cheap trailer, forget about Tesh. I wanted a good one though.
Do a search on here for "Yankee Clipper" and you'll see a Tesh trailer. Mine is going to be very similar to that one.
Dobys Trailor Sales in Sanford has some very good prices on any size trailor you want..inclosed or other wise..all sizes too..its right off US1 which isnt far for you to go...
kraftsman in asheboro or south ag in wendell
