Smokey F935

    fixin up a F935, got it running though there is a lot of white smoke that comes out when you go from idle to full throttle. I degreased the motor and noticed oil build up on the exhaust manifold which is leaking down the crank case. What I think is happening is oil is getting in the exhaust manifold, is this a head, pistons/rings problem or both ?

    Take the unit to a local shop and have them perform a cylinder leak-down test, This will show the condition of the rings/valves.

    Hold on a minute !!! Disregard my last post I had a brain fart, I didn't remember this is the diesel you need the diagram for....

    White smoke sounds like antifreeze entering a cylinder, Possible head gasket or a cracked head/block.
